Flexible Backup, Billed Only for What You Use
Backup for Managed VPS Hosting is available as an add-on, enabled per website. You choose which sites on your VPS need protection and we configure it for exactly those. There are two types of backup storage available, each suited to different retention needs and cost expectations.
- Unlimited manual backups, trigger anytime you need one
- Restore anytime with no restore limits
- Download your backup files whenever you need them
- Multiple backup destinations can be configured per site for extra redundancy
Built-In Offsite Backup (Incremental)
The built-in offsite backup uses an incremental format, capturing only what changed since the previous run, keeping your storage footprint close to your actual site size.
- Incremental format, only changed data is stored per run
- Storage stays close to your actual site size, not multiplied by backup count
- Most cost-efficient option for most projects
- Retention: 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or 1 month (maximum 30 days)
- Backup frequency: every 12 hours, daily, every 2 days, every 3 days, or weekly
- Multiple schedules with different frequencies can be configured per site
External Storage Backup (Full Backup)
For longer retention, backups can be configured to other external storage destination such as S3-compatible providers including iDrive, Backblaze, Wasabi, and others.
- Does not support incremental format, each run creates a full copy of your site
- Storage accumulates significantly with every retained snapshot
- Plan carefully as longer retention means substantially higher storage usage
- Retention: 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, or 6 months
- Backup frequency: every 12 hours, daily, every 2 days, every 3 days, or weekly
- Multiple schedules with different frequencies can be configured per site

WordPress Site Migration
If you need to move an existing WordPress website onto your managed VPS, we handle the full migration process for you. This includes transferring your files, database, and configuration, and confirming everything is working correctly before the domain is pointed to the new server.
WordPress Site Migration Pricing:
* Available for: Managed VPS Hosting clients only.
- Up to 5GB per site: $39 per site
- Above 5GB: $39 plus $4.50 per additional GB
Example 1: A 4 GB WordPress site would cost $39. This is minimum cost per site migration.
Example 2: A 7 GB WordPress site would cost $39 plus $9 (2 additional GB x $4.50) = $48 total.
